Fairfield Stags defeat Manhattan Jaspers 7-3 behind Hunter Hoxie’s pitching

Fairfield Stags, led by former Jonathan Law High School standout Hunter Hoxie, secured a 7-3 victory against the Manhattan Jaspers in their NCAA Division I baseball game on Sunday, March 15, at 1 p.m.

Don ’63 and Chris ’88 Cook Field hosted the game, marking the Stags’ third contest against the Jaspers this season. The previous matchup was played on Saturday, March 14, when the Stags also earned a win, 4-3.

During the game, Hoxie pitched four innings, giving up one earned run, walking four, and striking out one.

The Stags will play their next game against the NJIT Highlanders at Don ’63 and Chris ’88 Cook Field on Tuesday, March 17, at 3 p.m.
