Four members of the Yale men’s basketball team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team, according to a March 24 announcement. The honorees are Nick Townsend, Trevor Mullin, Jordan Brathwaite, and Riley Fox.

The CSC Academic All-District award recognizes student-athletes for their achievements both on the court and in academics. The program distinguishes honorees across four divisions: NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA. Finalists for the CSC Academic All-America honors will be announced in April.

Nick Townsend was recognized as a finalist for the upcoming national honor. A Psychology major and captain of the Bulldogs, Townsend is also the reigning Ivy League Player of the Year. He led Yale in scoring with an average of 16.3 points per game—eighth best in the league—and ranked third in rebounding with 7.4 per game while placing second in assists at 4.3 per game during his senior season. Townsend scored double figures in 28 games and recorded five double-doubles this year.

Trevor Mullin, an Economics major from Wellesley, Massachusetts, averaged 11.5 points per game as a junior and started all but one contest this season. He scored at least ten points seventeen times and had standout performances during postseason play that earned him All-Tournament honors.

Jordan Brathwaite played all 31 games as a Political Science major and finished third on his team with 45 three-pointers made while ranking among league leaders for three-point percentage at .435.

Riley Fox enjoyed a breakout sophomore year as an Economics major by averaging ten points per game over thirty-one appearances and tying Brathwaite with forty-five three-pointers made.
