Jordan Obi, a distinguished former Choate Rosemary Hall School player, took the court on Sunday, February 22, as the Kentucky Wildcats were narrowly defeated 81-79 by the Vanderbilt Commodores.
The 6′1″ graduate guard posted eight points, three rebounds and two steals in her 16 minutes on the floor.
Obi and Kentucky are scheduled to face the Auburn Tigers on the road Thursday, February 26 at 6 p.m.
During the week beginning Monday, May 4, these former South Central Connecticut area high school athletes will be in action.
Quinnipiac softball ended its regular season with a loss to Sacred Heart by a score of 9-6 but secured a spot in the upcoming MAAC Softball Championship tournament. The team also celebrated its senior players after Saturday’s game.
Quinnipiac women’s track and field wrapped up its regular season with strong performances at Northeastern University’s invitational on May 2. The team now prepares for next week’s MAAC Championships.
