Lafayette falls 12-6 to William & Mary; Milford’s Trey Deitelbaum pitches one inning

Trey Deitelbaum, a former Joseph A. Foran High School standout, and his Lafayette Leopards college team were defeated 12-6 by the William & Mary Tribe in their NCAA Division I baseball game on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 4 p.m.

Plumeri Park hosted the matchup, marking the season’s second meeting between the teams. The Leopards also lost to the Tribe in their previous contest on Friday, Feb. 27, by a score of 10-3.

In the game, Deitelbaum pitched one inning, allowing five earned runs with one walk and one strikeout.

Lafayette is set to play its next game against William & Mary Tribe at Plumeri Park on Sunday, March 1, at 1 p.m.
