On Saturday, March 8, former East Haven High School standouts Nathan Furino and Nicholas Furino’s current college team, the Eastern Connecticut State Warriors, won 8-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Tufts Jumbos.

The game took place at Sol Gittleman Park. This was their second matchup against the Jumbos this season.

The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 3:30 p.m. at Murren Family Field at DiBenedetto Stadium against Trinity Bantams.
