On Tuesday, March 11, former East Haven High School standouts Nathan Furino and Nicholas Furino’s current college team, the Eastern Connecticut State Warriors, won 7-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Trinity Bantams.

The game took place at Murren Family Field at DiBenedetto Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bantams this season.

The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 3 p.m. at Fiondella Field against Hartford Hawks.
