Nichols Bison fall 14-4 to Lynchburg Hornets in Division III baseball matchup

The Nichols Bison, featuring former West Haven High School standout Connor Hume, were defeated 14-4 by the Lynchburg Hornets in their NCAA Division III baseball game held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 9.

James C. Fox Field was the site of the matchup, marking the first meeting between these teams this season.

Hume pitched for 0.2 innings, issuing three walks and recording one strikeout.

The Bison will next face the Wheaton Lyons at James V. Sidell Stadium on Saturday, March 21, at 12 p.m.
