On Thursday, March 27, former Branford High School standout Marzia Johnson’s current college team, the New Haven Chargers, lost 6-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Mercy Mavericks.
The game took place at Smith Field. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.
The Chargers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 3 at 2 p.m. at LaMoy Field against Post Eagles.
