The Quinnipiac acrobatics and tumbling team defeated Morgan State on April 3, finishing its regular season with a 5-1 record and securing the No. 3 national ranking ahead of the upcoming NCATA National Championships.

The victory, which took place in Baltimore, Maryland, saw Quinnipiac score 267.870 points against Morgan State’s 236.560. The Bobcats led in every event category throughout the meet, including compulsory (37.10), acro (28.25), pyramid (29.30), toss (28.30), tumble (54.80), and team routine (90.12).

Highlights from the competition included a strong start in Acro 7 with a score of 9.45 for Quinnipiac and a top toss heat performance by Kathryn Coker in the 450 Salto Toss, earning a score of 9.70.

The team finished the meet with a notable team routine score of 90.12 to reach their final total.

Looking ahead, Quinnipiac will participate in the NCATA National Championships at Azusa Pacific University in California during the last week of April.
