The Quinnipiac women’s ice hockey team, ranked ninth nationally, lost 2-1 in overtime to No. 14 Colgate during an ECAC matchup on Saturday in Hamilton, New York.
The game remained scoreless for the first two periods. Colgate took the lead early in the third period with a goal from their leading scorer. Kahlen Lamarche tied the game for Quinnipiac just two minutes later, marking her 22nd goal of the season and extending her position as the nation’s top goal-scorer.

Despite efforts from Quinnipiac, Colgate secured the win in overtime. The Bobcats managed to earn four out of six possible points over the weekend after defeating Cornell on Friday.
Goaltender Felicia Frank made 29 saves against Colgate, bringing her total to 63 saves across both games that weekend and marking her 20th appearance this season.
Lamarche’s performance places her three goals and two points away from reaching career milestones of 100 points and 50 goals. She now holds the record for most goals by an ECAC skater before Christmas in the past seven seasons.
Jade Barbirati and Bryn Prier each contributed an assist during Saturday’s game, ending the weekend with two points apiece.
