The Quinnipiac University women’s tennis team has released its schedule for the 2026 spring season, according to an announcement from Head Coach Paula Miller.
The upcoming season will include 22 matches, with nine of those being home contests. The Bobcats will play their first four home matches at North Haven Health & Racquet before returning to the Quinnipiac Tennis Courts for the final five home games.
Quinnipiac begins its season on January 16 with an away match against Boston College at the Weymouth Club, followed by a visit to Yale on January 17. The team’s first home match is scheduled for January 24 against Brandeis at North Haven Health & Racquet. Other non-conference home opponents include Bryant (February 7), Seton Hall (February 15), and Rhode Island (March 7) at NHHR, as well as New Haven (March 21) on campus.
Non-conference road games are set against NJIT (January 31), UConn (February 10), Army (February 22), and Harvard (February 28). During spring break, the Bobcats will face Marquette, St. Thomas on March 10, and Western Carolina on March 12.
Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play starts at home on March 22 versus Sacred Heart. Additional conference home matches are scheduled against Marist (April 1), Fairfield (April 15), and Niagara (April 18). The team will also travel for league matches against Siena (March 29), Merrimack (April 7), Mount St. Mary’s (April 11), and Rider (April 12).
Quinnipiac women’s tennis recently won two titles at the MAAC Masters Tournament in fall of 2025. Willow Renton, who was named both MAAC Player of the Year and MAAC Rookie of the Year, defeated Ola Irla Bartyzel of Sacred Heart to win the women’s singles championship. In doubles competition, Renton partnered with Caitlin Flower to secure another title after beating Ola Irla Bartyzel and Ava Nelson of Sacred Heart.
Both men’s and women’s tennis teams at Quinnipiac completed a historic year by finishing a combined record of 16-0 in conference play and winning both regular season and conference championships for the first time in program history.
“Mark your calendars
