Rosa DeLauro, U.S. Congresswoman representing Connecticut’s 3rd district since 1991, shared updates about her recent activities and issued a statement regarding the removal of Pam Bondi from power in a series of posts on April 2, 2026.

In one post, DeLauro described her day in Prospect: “I joined Mayor Bob in Prospect for a walk-through City Hall, a drive through Coachlight Circle, which I’ve previously secured funding for to support water infrastructure, & finished the day talking to middle school students. It was an inspiring day talking to constituents.” (April 2, 2026)

Later that day, DeLauro responded publicly to singer Rita Ora: “.@RitaOra? Yes it’s me Rosa. Another is on the way. Thanks babe.” (April 2, 2026)

DeLauro has served as the congressional representative for Connecticut’s 3rd District since succeeding Bruce Morrison in 1991. She was born in New Haven in 1943 and continues to reside there. Her educational background includes earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marymount College, Tarrytown in 1964.
