On March 13, 2025, DeLauro expressed her opposition to a Republican-backed full-year Continuing Resolution (CR). She stated, “I voted against this Republican full-year CR, and several of my Republican colleagues voted in favor of a CR for the first time, for the same reason: It gives Elon Musk and President Trump a blank check and cuts vital programs our families rely on.”
In another post later that day, DeLauro announced an opportunity for young artists in her district.
