Rosa DeLauro has been a member of the U.S Congress since 1991, succeeding Bruce Morrison. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1943, DeLauro graduated from Marymount College, Tarrytown in 1964 with a BA. At age 80, she continues to reside in her hometown of New Haven.
