Regional Real Estate & Construction Forecast: DECD Commissioner David Lehman and Developers of Olive + Wooster, Elm City Bioscience Center, and Jaigantic Studios to Provide Updates

New Haven, CT – May 23rd,  2022 – The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce, partners with Marcum  LLP, to host its Annual Regional Real Estate & Construction Forecast  on Tuesday, May 24th, from 4pm to 7pm at the Woodwinds,  located at 29 Schoolground Rd, Branford, CT 06405. The Regional Real  Estate & Construction Forecast, presented by Regional Water  Authority, will highlight the top real estate trends and projects within  the Greater New Haven region. The region’s economic development  community and business professionals will connect during a cocktail and  networking reception, sponsored by Capstan Tax Strategies. 

David Lehman, CT Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner, is the keynote speaker, and will provide an outlook for economic growth in the region. A panel of developers, moderated by John McCarthy, CPA, Partner and New England Real Estate Industry Group Leader at Marcum LLP, will also share updates on projects already underway. The panel includes Bruce Johnson, CRE, MBA, CEM, Founding Partner at Capstan Tax Strategies, Darren Seid, President at Epimoni, developer of Olive + Wooster apartments, David Goldblum, Principal and CEO at The Hurley Group, developer of Elm City Bioscience Center, Donovan DeBoer, CEO of Jaigantic Studios, and Ginny Kozlowski, CEO of REX Development. Anne Benowitz,  Vice President of Economic Development & Workforce Initiatives for  the Greater New Haven Chamber, will also provide economic development  updates. Municipalities within the region will present information on  upcoming projects coming into their cities or towns. 

A  prize basket, sponsored by Guilford Savings Bank, will be given away at  the event. The basket includes a dinner for two and a bottle of wine at  BLDG (the Hotel Marcel dining room), two tickets to Queen at Long Wharf  Theatre, two tickets to see Dallas Black Theatre and two tickets to  Michelle Buteau from the International Festival of Arts & Ideas,  four tickets to Hello World from Tedx New Haven, and a $150 IKEA gift  card.
