"Heartbreaking loss for UConn, but this team has shown incredible talent, resilience, and heart all season," she stated. The following day on March 24, 2025, DeLauro addressed a significant political issue involving President Trump and Elon Musk. She claimed that they had taken action against transparency by shutting down a website meant to inform citizens about governmental spending.
