On Wednesday, April 9, former Branford High School standout Marzia Johnson’s current college team, the New Haven Chargers, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Southern Connecticut Owls.

The game took place at New Haven Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Owls this season.

The Chargers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 2 p.m. at SNHU Softball Field against SNHU Penmen.
