On Sunday, March 30, former Xavier High School standout Blake Beattie’s current college team, the New Haven Chargers, lost 1-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Pace Setter.
The game took place at Frank Vieira Field. This was their third matchup against the Setter this season.
The Chargers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2 at 3 p.m. at Frank Vieira Field against Southern Connecticut State Owls.
