Yale’s Bryce Miller earns Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors

First-year catcher Bryce Miller from the Yale baseball team has been named Ivy League Rookie of the Week, according to an announcement by the conference on Monday.

Miller played in all three games during Yale’s series against Pepperdine. Over those games, he recorded five hits in eleven at-bats, stole three bases, and scored four runs. His on-base percentage for the weekend was .571.

The Bulldogs are scheduled to play Manhattan at home on Wednesday, March 4, with the game set to begin at 3 p.m.

In previous Ivy League weekly awards this season, Garrett Larsen was recognized as Player of the Week on February 23. Bryce Miller received his Rookie of the Week honor for his performance during the week ending March 2.
