58 percent of applicants to Albertus Magnus College were admitted for fall 2018

At Albertus Magnus College, 58 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 67 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in New Haven enrolled 1,456 students in fall 2018, including 1,116 in undergraduate and 340 in graduate programs, data shows. 8.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

92 percent of undergraduates are residents of Connecticut, and 8 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (34 percent) and Black or African American (33 percent).

The school admitted 58 percent of the 1,388 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 20 percent enrolled.
