Cost of college went down for all students at Academy Di Capelli-School of Cosmetology

Tuition and fees fell 2.9 percent for 2018-19 at Academy Di Capelli-School of Cosmetology, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Connecticut students paid $18,930 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 81 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 135 students received grants or scholarships totaling $464,151 and 140 students took out student loans totaling more than $966,907.

Including all undergraduates (208), 182 students used grants or scholarships totaling $602,387, and 173 students took out $1.1 million in federal student loans.
