Cost of college went up for all students at Albertus Magnus College

Tuition and fees rose 3 percent for 2018-19 at Albertus Magnus College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Connecticut students paid $32,060 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $920 more than the $31,140 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 99 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 110 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.4 million and 99 students took out student loans totaling more than $681,876.

Including all undergraduates (1,456), 875 students used grants or scholarships totaling $13.2 million, and 953 students took out $8.5 million in federal student loans.
