GROTON, Conn. –Chelsea Groton Bank launched a new peak time career program to support individuals looking to start or remain in a professional career while balancing the demands of one’s personal life.
“For many people, working in a professional environment less than full or part time is more desirable to not working at all – whether it’s individuals looking at semi-retirement vs full retirement, students looking to begin their professional career while furthering their education, or stay at home caregivers looking to provide for their family”, said Anne Wilkinson, SVP, and Chief Human Resources Officer at Chelsea Groton Bank. “Furthermore, we have top-performing employees here at Chelsea who may want to semi-retire at some point, what a great way to retain them during their transition to full retirement”.
Peak time employees at Chelsea Groton Bank would work during peak hours and a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 19 hours per week; there are no paid benefits but peak time employees would earn peak time premium pay and have the ability to participate in skill building programs through Chelsea University, which is especially beneficial if they are considering career pathing to a full time position down the road.
