Rosa DeLauro, a U.S. Congress member representing Connecticut's 3rd district since 1991, recently shared several statements on her social media platform addressing legislative efforts and foreign policy concerns.

On March 5, 2025, DeLauro announced her support for the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act. She stated, " Today, I am proud to stand with @BobbyScott in reintroducing the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act. As an original cosponsor, I will continue to fight to defend workers’ rights and to end illegal union-busting. #PROAct".

The following day, on March 6, 2025, she introduced two pieces of legislation aimed at protecting Americans' Social Security benefits from perceived threats by former President Trump. In her statement she questioned Republican support: "We introduced the Keeping Our Field Offices Open Act and the Protecting Americans’ Social Security Data Act to protect Americans from Trump’s attacks on SSA. House Republicans; will you stand with the Americans who need this program and help us enact these bills?".

Later that same day, DeLauro criticized former President Trump's stance on Ukraine and refugee issues. She expressed concern over his approach towards international allies and humanitarian obligations: "It’s not enough for Trump to abandon our ally Ukraine to Russia’s onslaught—now he wants to abandon refugees who fled for their lives. This is not strength. This is unconscionable cruelty."
