Rosa DeLauro, a long-serving U.S. Congress member representing Connecticut's 3rd District, has shared several updates on her official Twitter account. Her recent posts reflect her stance on current legislative matters and initiatives aimed at engaging the community.

On March 13, 2025, DeLauro expressed her opposition to a Republican-backed full-year Continuing Resolution (CR). She stated, "I voted against this Republican full-year CR, and several of my Republican colleagues voted in favor of a CR for the first time, for the same reason: It gives Elon Musk and President Trump a blank check and cuts vital programs our families rely on."

In another post later that day, DeLauro announced an opportunity for young artists in her district. She invited high school students from Connecticut’s Third District to participate in the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. The tweet read: "Calling all young artists! Rep. Rosa DeLauro invites high school students (Grades 9-12) in CT’s Third District to enter the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. Due by April 17th for more: https://t.co/erhKAHFwSD"

DeLauro also addressed concerns about federal employment policies. In another tweet from March 13, she commented on recent job terminations within federal agencies. She remarked that "The mass firing of federal workers goes beyond weakening our government’s ability to function; it shatters the lives of hardworking individuals who have dedicated their careers to public service." She highlighted the uncertainty faced by these workers and their families.
