On March 13, 2025, DeLauro expressed her opposition to a Republican-backed full-year Continuing Resolution (CR). She stated, "I voted against this Republican full-year CR, and several of my Republican colleagues voted in favor of a CR for the first time, for the same reason: It gives Elon Musk and President Trump a blank check and cuts vital programs our families rely on."
In another post later that day, DeLauro announced an opportunity for young artists in her district. She invited high school students from Connecticut’s Third District to participate in the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. The tweet read: "Calling all young artists! Rep. She highlighted the uncertainty faced by these workers and their families.
