Census Bureau: More women than men in New Haven city in 2020

Of the 130,381 people living in New Haven city in 2020, 53.4 percent (69,600) were women and 46.6 percent (60,781) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SC Connecticut News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 6,415. In the 65 and over age range, there were 7,835 females and 6,318 males.
