Rosa DeLauro, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Connecticut's 3rd district since 1991, recently shared her thoughts on various topics through social media posts. DeLauro has been an influential figure in politics, known for her commitment to her constituents and advocacy on numerous issues.
On January 25, 2025, DeLauro expressed concern over the dismissal of inspectors general. She remarked that such actions were indicative of illegal activity and referenced Project 2025: "Nothing says you’re currently breaking the law quite like the mass firing of inspectors general. To anyone shocked by this move, this is straight out of Project 2025. He told you what he was going to do, and now he’s doing it."
Two days later, on January 27, DeLauro highlighted her involvement with local farmers in Connecticut regarding a new grant initiative. She stated: "Today, I joined my constituent Will Dellacamera and other small Connecticut farmers to spotlight the historic Farm Recovery & Support Block Grant. This grant will give our small & medium farmers the ability to recover and thrive after unexpected localized weather events."
On the same day, she also commemorated Holocaust Remembrance Day by acknowledging its significance and condemning antisemitism: "Today is the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz’s & Holocaust Remembrance Day. I stand with the Jewish community & honor the 6 million innocent lives taken in this horrible tragedy. Antisemitism must be defeated. We must never forget & always confront hate."
