Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, a longstanding representative of Connecticut's 3rd District, expressed views on various community and national issues in a series of tweets. DeLauro, who has served in Congress since 1991, touched upon religious celebrations, governmental accountability, and social justice activism in her recent posts.

In a tweet dated March 31, 2025, DeLauro offered her best wishes to those observing Eid al-Fitr, the festival that marks the end of Ramadan. She encouraged reflection on traditions that "strengthen our communities and family bonds." Her message extended "warmest wishes and blessings to the Muslim-American community" as they celebrated the occasion. DeLauro also addressed a matter of governmental transparency on the same day. She criticized the administration for allegedly using Signal messages intended for deletion within seven days as a means to avoid accountability. DeLauro claimed, "They’re terrified of being held accountable and want to hide the evidence of their incompetence." Later that day, the congresswoman paid tribute to Cesar Chavez on the anniversary of his passing. She highlighted his collaboration with Dolores Huerta and his significant role in advocating for farm workers' rights. DeLauro described Chavez as a "social justice giant" who "inspired other working Americans to organize through nonviolent activism." The complete tribute is available [here](https://x.com/rosadelauro/status/1906749425034125425).
