Rosa DeLauro, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Connecticut's 3rd district, has voiced her perspective on recent national and educational issues via social media. DeLauro, who has been a congressional member since 1991, engaged her audience with several statements that have sparked discussions.

In a post dated March 31, 2025, DeLauro criticized the Trump administration's actions against students involved in pro-Palestinian activism. She stated, "The Trump administration’s arrests of students across the country for pro-Palestinian activism is wrong. While I strongly disagree with their views, arresting and detaining individuals for their beliefs without transparency, denying them access to legal representation, and..."

On the same day, DeLauro addressed educational priorities in a tweet, emphasizing her advocacy for children's education. She shared, "Last week, I joined local education leaders to discuss our fight for every child’s right to a quality education that powers their dreams. Our children’s future can’t be sacrificed for the interests of unchecked billionaires. I’m ready to fight for their future."

Later, in another statement, DeLauro questioned the Trump administration's handling of sensitive information. She expressed, "'Closed'? I think not. It’s clear that classified information was shared over vulnerable networks, in the presence of unknown entities. I wouldn’t trust the Trump Administration to defend a Stop & Shop parking spot at rush hour. I won't stop demanding answers, & consequences."
