But President Trump saying that will be a perfect distraction from his and Elon Musk’s true goal: billionaires robbing from the programs that help Americans get ahead."Later the same day, she expressed her stance on reproductive rights by highlighting efforts to safeguard access to contraception amidst growing restrictions. On February 5, 2025, she tweeted:

"The right to contraception is under attack as Republicans continue to restrict American women’s reproductive freedom. Today, I stand with @ReproCaucus and @HouseDemocrats as a cosponsor of the Right to Contraception Act."In another post dated February 5, 2025, DeLauro announced her participation in a live discussion with colleagues from AppropsDems. The focus was on perceived threats posed by former President Trump and Elon Musk to American safety. She wrote:

"I'm going live with my @AppropsDems colleagues to highlight how Trump and Musk are threatening Americans' safety."
